Mechanical Engineer Greenwood, IN Design sheet metal packaging systems for orthopedic and surgical instruments and medical devices that meet standards for cleanliness and sterilization of these instruments and devices in healthcare facilities. Create sterilization packaging designs using Pro/E CAD design system. Conduct project mgmt. Determine optimum design parameters and layouts to secure instruments and devices in brackets in case and/or tray systems. Produce correct bill of materials and revision drawings and revision drawings for purchase orders. Coordinate prototype and production assembly. Requires a Mechanical Engg., + US perm. Work auth. Product Design Engineer Ideal candidate will possess a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering plus experience using 3D design software (preferably Pro/Engineer). Prefer two or more years prior design experience using metals or plastics desired. Associate Product Design Engineer Ideal candidate will possess an Associate degree and have experience in 2D/3D design software, preferably Pro/Engineer plus experience in graphics packages like Corel, Photoshop, etc. Prior design experience using metals or plastics desired.
